In the past few weeks, we've watched the nominations roll in. Today the final crop of nominees have been revealed, all leading to next week's ultimate announcement- the 2019 Tony nominations.

Today, the producers of Be More Chill announced the launch of "The Post Show Hang," a special Wednesday evening post-show encore series, that will include a performance tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29, with Gaten Matarazzo("Stranger Things"). Tony Award nominee Joe Iconis will accompany an exciting lineup of actors as they each perform a song from the Tony Award-nominated score of Be More Chill. Additional actors will be announced at a later date.

Last week I went to the Drama Desk Award Nominations Reception at Green Room 42, here in NYC.  This is one of the last few events where you get to meet some of the newest folks doing theater OFF Broadway and On Broadway.  You also get a chance to chat to some of the actors who are nominated for this year's Tony Awards, as well.

To celebrate four years since the musical's world premiere and an unparalleled journey to the Lyceum Theatre on Broadway, the producers of the new musical sensation Be More Chill today announced special ticket prices available to fans for a limited time only.

Schmackary's, 'the official cookie of Broadway,'  will host their 5th annual BROADWAY BAKES from May 27-31, 2019. Over twenty of the biggest names on Broadway, including 2019 Tony Awards nominees,  will join together to work behind the counter at Schmackary's, selling cookies to customers and raising money in support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Taylor Trensch (Dear Evan Hansen, Hello, Dolly!) dropped by Be More Chill tonight for a curtain call surprise. Taking the stage with composer, Joe Iconis, Trensch (who played the role of Jeremy in the first reading of the show) performed the song, 'A Guy That I'd Kinda Be Into.'

Tickets are now on-sale for the New York Premiere of the new musical comedy BROADWAY BOUNTY HUNTER, opening Off-Broadway this summer at Greenwich House Theater (27 Barrow Street). The follow-up to his viral smash hit Be More Chill which made its Broadway bow this spring, BROADWAY BOUNTY HUNTER features music and lyrics by two-time Drama Desk Award nominee Joe Iconis ('Smash', The Black Suits, Bloodsong of Love at Ars Nova), who also co-wrote the book with Lance Rubin (Denton Little's Deathdate), and Jason SweetTooth Williams (Be More Chill).
