Axis Company to Present Edgar Oliver's IN THE PARK, 5/8-6/7

Axis Company will present the world premiere of In The Park, a new solo show from esteemed actor, playwright, storyteller and longtime Axis member Edgar Oliver. Directed by Randy Sharp, Artistic Director of Axis and the director of Oliver's first solo show, the acclaimed, Edinburgh Fringe First Award-winning East 10th Street, In The Park follows Oliver's Helen & Edgar (2012), which The New York Times' Ben Brantley called 'utterly absorbing and unexpectedly moving.' The new production comes on the heels of Axis' recent hit Nothing On Earth (Can Hold Houdini), which was written and directed by Sharp and lauded by The New York Times and others. (more...)
