CMT and Feed The Front Line (FTFL) today announced “Feed The Front Line LIVE, Presented By CMT,” a multi-hour, star-studded virtual benefit concert in support of Feed The Front Line's mission to provide free meals to frontline COVID-19 employees, essential workers, and other people in need while supporting struggling local restaurants.

This weekend, the inaugural 320 Festival will be taking place fully online from May 8-10. As the three-day broadcast rapidly approaches, 320 Festival has announced the daily schedule for the event, as well as an additional performance from Jimmie Allen.

Conversations surrounding mental health will be coming directly into people's homes through the inaugural 320 Festival, now happening completely virtually May 8th-10th.

The Country Music Association's popular international artist-focused touring series, Introducing Nashville, will bring dynamic Nashville artists Abby Anderson, Niko Moon, Cassadee Pope and Mitchell Tenpenny to the Pacific Rim in March. This Introducing Nashville lineup will visit multiple cities in Australia before stopping in Auckland, New Zealand and Tokyo, Japan. Today, Tanbark, comprised of Chloe Nelson and James Jannicelli, released their new self-titled LP 'Heart-Shaped Locket.' The nine-track set came at a time when the band finally felt at home in their adopted hometown of Brooklyn, New York. 'We wanted to make an honest portrayal of our first few years in this massive city and grapple with the smallness of our constant search for an authentic voice and beauty underneath the hustle,' Nelson has said of the album. 'We smoothed the edges of our personal experiences and brought some warm country music tones, pedal steel and piano, to a project recorded in the middle of a harsh winter.' The album rolls between fantasy, innocence and desire, sweetened by the pair's lush harmonies and Nelson's rich, ethereal vocal style.

Cassettes (the name for Cassadee Pope's passionate fanbase) have spoken and were heard loud and clear. Cassadee Pope released a nostalgic lyric video for fan-favorite track 'FYI' off her second album Stages. 

Brooklyn-based duo Tanbark has shared 'Heart-Shaped Locket,' a new track from their forthcoming self-titled album, out May 31st. The song is the third from the record, and was inspired by, as most of the songs on Tanbark, talismans and good luck charms. ''Heart-Shaped Locket' was inspired by a locket that I got at an antique market in London,' says band member Chloe Nelson. 'I carefully drew tiny illustrations of people in it, and this personal touch unintentionally made the people indecipherable to anyone but myself. A locket is something you wear closed in plain sight, hiding the things or people that you most treasure. I wanted to evoke hastily purchased gift shop tchotchkes and a getaway car with dusty pink dice on the rear-view mirror, rolling out of town. Halfway through the song, the narrator gets a bit less reliable; she pleads and maybe longs for something she does not quite have.”  

The Country Music Association hosted music industry partners and colleagues during the Music Business Association's annual conference – Music Biz 2019, held this week in Nashville. CMA sponsored the event's kickoff festivities today, which included a welcome breakfast and CMA Songwriters Series performance, at the JW Marriott in Nashville.
