GALECA, the Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics, unveiled the inaugural Dorians TV Toast 2020 on Revry award winners at a virtual, live-streamed event on Sunday.

Hugh Jackman, Janelle Monáe, Regina King, Pose sensation and fashion trailblazer Billy Porter, groundbreaking trans actress Laverne Cox, Schitt’s Creek star Dan Levy and vaunted political satirist John Oliver are among the slew of actors, comics and performers lending cheer to GALECA.

From Sunday October 18th to Saturday the 24th, the first-ever New Works Virtual Festival (NWVF) will stream video readings of 20 new scripts featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members. All proceeds will be donated to the Actors Fund.

​​​​​​​Leaders in entertainment, business, philanthropy, politics, and the arts will gather virtually for a livestream of the 5th Annual Big Sunday Gala, celebrating more than two decades of the organization's work and three distinguished honorees – Michael Skloff, Tiffany Smith-Anoa'i and Hulu on Wednesday evening, August 12th beginning at 7:00 PM PT.

a?oeTogether We Can: A Celebration Of Arts Educationa??, a commercial-free, hour-long televised variety special on Saturday, June 27 at 7:00 pm. The production is produced, staged and directed by David Green, founder and Director of Musical Theatre University, which is one of the school district's most treasured arts programs. a?oeTogether We Cana??  is co-hosted by Emmy Winning Comedian and Actor Bruce Vilanch and local CBS Personality Patrick Evans and will showcase the PSUSD's vibrant performing and visual arts programs and make the case for the critical need for arts education in our schools, as the district faces probable budget cuts due to the Covid-19 crisis. This special event is the kick-off to a year-long fundraising campaign by The Foundation For The Palm Springs Unified School District called a?oeTogether We Will; Protect The Artsa??. 

The Hollywood Museum in partnership with Los Angeles City Councilmember Mitch O'Farrell will present REAL TO REEL LIVE (VIRTUAL EDITION 2020). Michael Feinstein will be receiving the Inspiration Award, and Kristin Chenoweth will be appearing as a special guest.
