South Africans have already been laughing around the country as Lefra Productions's hit farce, MY VROU SE MAN SE LYK SE TAS has made its way around on its nationwide tour. Now it's time for the show to hit Johannesburg for a two week run at the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperor's Palace from 15 - 27 October 2013.

Lefra Productions is bringing a brand new stage production of LIEWE HEKSIE to Emperor's Palace! The creator of LIEWE HEKSIE, Verna Vels, celebrated her 80th birthday this year and is also celebrating the golden anniversary of Liewe Heksie's first appearance. Lefra Productions has toured South Africa for the past three years with many LIEWE HEKSIE productions and to celebrate this double anniversary, director Frans Swart convinced Vels to write a brand new LIEWE HEKSIE story. Swart has adapted and directed the story for the stage.

This year, Lefra Productions will present three exciting productions at the annual Clover Aardklop National Arts Festival in Potchefstroom from 25 - 29 September: the hit farce, MY VROU SE MAN SE LYK SE TAS by Ray Cooney, the band Smokie performing their popular music and a brand new LIEWE HEKSIE production.

Lefra Produksies voer 'n splinternuwe LIEWE HEKSIE-verhoogproduksie op wat by vanjaar se Clover Aardklop Nasionale Kunstefees gaan premiere. One of Cooney's very successful farces from London's West End, this produciton was translated and adapted by Peet van Rensburg and has been directed by Frans Swart. After the recent runaway success of MY VROU SE MAN SE LYK SE TAS at the State Theatre in Pretoria, Lefra and the State Theatre decided to bring back this laugh-a-minute farce for one week only from 14 to 19 May, also announcing the following national tour dates for the show:
