Mortimer's new EP Fight The Fight is the highly anticipated release featuring the up-and-coming roots star working closely  with GRAMMY-nominated producer Winta James. Following very notable guest appearances on the last two Protoje albums, including the GRAMMY-nominated A Matter Of Time, Mortimer is set to reveal the most powerful sides of his musical personality with this stellar 6-track project, set for November 15 release via Easy Star Records. (This will be a digital release, followed by a CD and vinyl version in early January.) Fight The Fight features live musicianship, top notch production, and emotive lyricism that combine to create a fresh sound, breathing new life into soulful roots reggae. Children's Theatre Company Announces Cast for Bob Marley's THREE LITTLE BIRDS

Children's Theatre Company (CTC) has announced the cast for the production of Bob Marley's Three Little Birds, running January 19 through March 1, 2020, based on a story by Cedella Marley, music and lyrics by Bob Marley, adapted for the stage by Michael J Bobbitt, directed by Shá Cage, and music direction by Sanford Moore. The cast includes Ellis Dossavi (Ziggy), KateMarie Andrews (Nansi), Kory LaQuess Pullam (Duppy), Lynnea Monique Doublette (Cedella), Nathan Barlow (Dr. Bird), and Timotha Lanae (Tacoomah).

Cortland Repertory Theatre Downtown at 24 Port Watson Street in Cortland is proud to present The Jazz Ensembles from Cornell University with a unique and exciting concert on Friday October 25 at 7:30 PM. Directed by Paul Merrill, the talented student musicians will present a concert entitled 'Mythology, Folklore, and Freedom: Train Imagery in Early Blues, Folk, Jazz and Pop.' With a central theme of songs about trains and a?oeriding the railsa??, the concert features music by Johnny Cash, Duke Ellington, Bob Marley, Arlo Guthrie, Thelonious Monk, Lead Belly, Elizabeth Cotton, Henry Thomas, Mary Lou Williams, and The O'Jays.  Special guest musician/singer Miché Fambro will also join the group, bringing his own unique sound to the concert.  Tickets for $10.00 for adults and seniors, and $8.00 for youth under 22.

Set for Friday, November 8, the All-Star Celebration of Bob Marley will showcase a number of once-in-a-lifetime performances, led by eight-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Stephen Marley, joined by his brother and very special guest, four-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, sharing one stage with a diverse lineup of stars. Festival headliner Jack Johnson will also join the celebration, along with Latin GRAMMY® Award-winning singer Nacho, plus GRAMMY® Award-winning frontman of Arcade Fire, Win Butler. Directed by Jennifer Embelton, 'Bring It All Back' is the second track off the forthcoming album, recorded and produced by Konstantin Kersting (Tia Gostelow, The Belligerents, Mallrat) in Brisbane, Australia, and mastered by Steve Smart at 301 Studios (Dean Lewis, Empire of the Sun, Flume). 'Bring It All Back' follows 'Cherry Cola', the stellar first single from her highly anticipated new album, which premiered and gained high rotation on Double J Radio. Leanne has received support from the likes of Rolling Stone, CLASH Magazine, Atwood Magazine, Popdust, Tonspion, Iggy Magazine, AU Review (Australian Artists Of The Year), BBC Radio 6's Tom Robinson and Mark Riley, BBC Introducing Merseyside, Amazing Radio's Charlie Ashcroft, and Triple J Unearthed. Benjamin Zephaniah Will Visit Worthing's Connaught Theatre

He befriended Nelson Mandela, fought in the 1980s race riots and recorded radical reggae music with Bob Marley's former band. Benjamin Zephaniah was unable to read and write at school but became one of Britain's most remarkable poets. And now he's back to continue his first tour in eight years, which coincides with his remarkable autobiography, The Life And Rhymes Of Benjamin Zephaniah. He will be visiting the Connaught Theatre on Sunday 27 October with his talk beginning at 7:30pm.

The musical which features the singer's greatest hits and has the full backing of the Marley family is written by Lee Hall and will be directed by Dominic Cooke.
