Tony-Winning Composer Jason Robert Brown Set for Red Branch Theatre Company's Benefit Concert, 3/17

Acclaimed and renowned American musical theatre composer Jason Robert Brown will present a benefit cabaret entitled 'I Could Be In Love With Someone Like You' on Monday, March 17 to kick of Red Branch Theatre Company's 2014 season. Howard County restaurant Iron Bridge Wine Company will cater the affair with Irish-themed favorites in celebration of St. Patrick's Day. Proceeds will benefit Red Branch Theatre Company's annual operating budget. This promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime event given the opportunity to see this prominent composer in a rare concert appearance in the theatre's intimate, 100-seat space. To top off the cabaret, Mr. Brown will accompany alums of TYA, Drama Learning Center's teen professional company, and the casts of The Love/Loss Cycle in one of his compositions during the evening's performance. Last evening (Saturday, Feb. 22) the stars came out to Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. Spotted were 'Pitch Perfect' co-stars and gal pals, Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow, who held court at a VIP table on the main stage next to the DJ booth. Arriving just before midnight, the two enjoyed themselves while sipping champagne and cocktails and showing off their best dance moves with friends to the high-energy set by Hakkasan featured artists, Dada Life.
