 The Cliplight Theatre Company announced the world premiere of WAKE UP, a touching, funny and bracingly honest new solo show about a gay, Mormon-raised stage actor who begins using and selling crystal meth at the same time he’s preparing for the role of Richard III.

The world premiere of Ashley Robinson's play with music, Brokeback Mountain, has now opened @sohoplace. Directed by Jonathan Butterell with songs by Dan Gillespie Sells, the show stars Mike Faist as Jack and Lucas Hedges as Ennis, both making their West End stage debuts.

The League of Professional Theatre Women (LPTW) announced that its 2023 Rachel Crothers Leadership Award® will be given to Anna Deavere Smith, multi-award-winning playwright, actress, professor, and author. 

The trailer for Rare Objects, starring, written, directed, and produced by Katie Holmes, has been released. The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center has announced the on sale date for Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird, a new play by Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin, directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher and based on Harper Lee's classic novel. The first national tour of the critically acclaimed, record-breaking production starring Emmy Award winner Richard Thomas will perform at the Center February 21-26, 2023 as part of the 2022-23 Kimberly-Clark Broadway Across America - Fox Cities series.
