The Music Hall Lounge's latest show announcements for the newly renovated venue features comedy, literary conversations, and the return of several regional favorite musicians.

The Music Hall announced another round of shows coming to their newly renovated venue, The Music Hall Lounge. Continuing the grand opening celebration weekend, stand up comedian and actor Michael Ian Black will perform two shows; other opening weekend shows include a sold out concert by Darlingside and two sets with comedian Pat McGann. The latest Lounge schedule runs through October, with more rounds of announcements scheduled throughout May and into June.

The Music Hall is announcing the first round of shows coming to their newly renovated venue, The Music Hall Lounge. Formerly named The Loft, The Lounge kicks off its first month this summer with local legends, award-winning bands, bestselling authors, stand-up comedians, and rising stars. New and exciting musicians, comedians, and authors will visit the venue for the first time, while Darlingside, Séan McCann, Bitter Pill, Peter Mulvey, and more will return to the updated space that boasts a fun nightclub vibe, flexible seating, and upgraded audio and video capabilities.

The series is a dual coming-of-age story chronicling the personal and sexual journeys of an empty-nest mother and her college freshman son, who both embrace their newfound freedom with mixed results.

Jasmine Cephas Jones will join the cast on HBO's upcoming comedy series Mrs. Fletcher  in a recurring role, according to Deadline. The series stars Kathryn Hahn and is directed and executive produced by Nicole Holofcener.

HBO has given a series order to MRS. FLETCHER starring Kathryn Hahn, according to Variety. HBO ordered the project's pilot back in April.

The Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) and the Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) have announced nominations for outstanding achievement in television, new media, news, radio/audio, and promotional writing during 2017. Winners will be honored at the 2018 Writers Guild Awards on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at concurrent ceremonies in New York City and Los Angeles.

The largest promotion of its kind kicks off on Black Friday, November 24, at Barnes & Noble stores nationwide, while supplies last. The autographed books span many genres and interests, and were signed by authors for Barnes & Noble customers.
