Proud Image Theatre Company's Jeffrey Vause returns to Don't Tell Mama with Aloha Oy! The Cabaret on Saturdays, September 10 and 24, both at 5 PM. Music director is John Bowen.

Actor and playwright Jeffrey Vause is coming back to Don't Tell Mama after his one-night-only cabaret debut packs the club with wall-to-wall patrons.

The worlks of Sondheim, Berlin, Hamlisch and more will supply the music, while Hawaii provides the leading man in this new musical cabaret set for May 14th at Don't Tell Mama.

Leading NYC arts education nonprofit Inside Broadway (Executive Director, Michael Presser) recently begun its city-wide school tour of All Kinds of People, a special musical revue developed in collaboration with The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization, designed to promote tolerance and acceptance using the words and lyrics of the great Oscar Hammerstein II. The tour will play about 90 performances over the course of 10 weeks at over 50 NYC public schools in The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens & Manhattan.

Artists in Partnership (AIP), a non-profit cultural arts organization, will host its 17th Annual Cabaret Festival May 14-19 at the Long Beach Public Library, 111 West Park Avenue, Long Beach, NY. The festival will be a celebration of the cabaret genre honoring the Great American Songbook with performances by award-winning artists (MAC, Bistro, Broadway World, Nightlife awards, among others) and participants in the Adela and Larry Elow American Songbook High School Competition (who are noted by *). All performances are FREE to the public.

The multi-platinum rock group FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH has teamed up with the legendary BRIAN MAY of QUEEN and two of the biggest names in country and blues rock, BRANTLEY GILBERT and KENNY WAYNE SHEPHERD to record a special version of the song 'Blue On Black' mixed by Kevin Churko(Ozzy Osbourne, Shania Twain, Disturbed). Titans in each of their respective genres, the artists came together to merge country and mainstream rock to re-create the classic song originally recorded and co-written by SHEPHERD. Taking Country Rock to the next level, 'Blue On Black' is out today worldwide via Prospect Park (North America) and Eleven Seven Music (ex. The city-wide school tour of Irving Berlin's Land That I Love, featuring music & lyrics by Irving Berlin and book by four-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin (Aladdin, The Wedding Singer, Elf the Musical), has extended its performance schedule for the second time due to popular demand and strong audience response, with support from NYC Council Member Vincent Gentile.

The city-wide school tour of Irving Berlin's Land That I Love, featuring music & lyrics by Irving Berlin & book by 4-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin (Aladdin, The Wedding Singer, Elf the Musical), has extended its performance schedule into May due to popular demand & strong audience response from the first month of school tour performances across the city. Presented by leading NYC arts education nonprofit Inside Broadway (Executive Director, Michael Presser), Land That I Love is a special collaboration between Inside Broadway and the Irving Berlin Family & is specifically produced for New York City public schools. The tour began in January and will now be performed at over 60 NYC public schools in Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx and Queens, with over 100 performances thru May 5 (in 2017, Inside Broadway will be serving over 50,000 New York City students with its programs).

The Empresarios are ready to bring tropicaliente beats to the world again this winter, after spending much of 2014 in the studio the group's third album is complete. The Vibes continues to bring the warm Latin sounds that fans have come to expect from Empresarios but with new surprises. The Vibes includes collaborations from Miami based Colombian rapper Ephniko and DC-based salseros Orquesta Salsaley.
