BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER (bergenPAC) 19th Annual Gala celebrates success and raises funds for performing arts school.

New Orleans Ballet Association brings one of the world's greatest dance companies, American Ballet Theatre, to the Mahalia Jackson Theater for two performances of the beloved, comedic ballet, Don Quixote, accompanied by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, May 15, 2022, at 2 p.m.

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is offering several of Broadway's biggest hits, plus amazing concerts and memorable special events for every entertainment preference, from classical music to political comedy, plus international superstars like Diana Ross to Kenny G to Chita Rivera, along with several fascinating talks and lectures throughout the month of March.

Three Tales by Steve Reich, with visuals by Beryl Korot, will open the Long Beach Opera's 40th Anniversary Season, for two performances Saturday, November 3 at 6pm and Sunday, November 4 at 2:30pm at the Ernest Borgnine Theater, Scottish Rite Event Center, in Long Beach, CA.  The production is sung in English, and is conducted by Andreas Mitisek. Three Tales will serve as the centerpiece to Long Beach Opera's 40th anniversary Gala, which will take place following the performance on November 3rd.      

The Los Angeles Philharmonic and Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel ushered in the orchestra's Centennial season with a celebratory Opening Night Concert & Gala, California Soul, Thursday, September 27, 7 pm, at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The festive evening featured singers Chris Martin of Coldplay, who brought Dudamel and the LA Phil's YOLA musicians to the 2016 Super Bowl, and Corinne Bailey Rae, who performed at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this year.

The ASA will also present its first annual Lifetime Achievement Award to singer Marilyn Maye. The award will be presented to Maye by her longtime friend, fashion designer, Bob Mackie. The event takes place at The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 W. 42nd Street, New York City, on September 17, 2018 at 7:30 PM. New World Symphony, America's Orchestral Academy (NWS), hosted its coveted 30th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, Feb. 10. Presented by Gala Chairs Sarah Arison and Thomas Wilhelm, the black-tie affair raised the most funds in all of NWS history, which will go directly towards supporting its fellowship program, its work in the community and innovative programming. The evening also paid tribute to composter Leonard Bernstein in the centennial of his birth with a special performance led by Founder and Artistic Director, Michael Tilson Thomas (MTT).
