Who knew in 1994 that a dance number performed during a seven minute intermission during the Eurovision song contest would expand into a thrilling spectacle of dance that would not only survive the test of time, but remain so beloved by so many? Beyond a pandemic, political unrest, racial tension, a couple of wars, RIVERDANCE still shines it's timeless light and energy on audiences around the world.

Twenty-seven years ago, the international dance phenomenon known as Riverdance began enchanting audiences. Twenty- five years ago it began touring the world and to this day millions of people have been enthralled by it’s mix of music, dance and musicianship. Oddly enough, it’s current engagement at Kennedy Center’s Opera House is the first time the show has played that particular venue so it was truly an experience seeing the show in this grand hall. Seeing it on St. Patrick’s Day also added a whole new level for sure. Oh, some of the audience outfits!! The full-blown leprechaun suit won my vote for most creative.
RIVERDANCE Announces New North American Tour and Casting
Riverdance 25th Anniversary Show will tour over 40 cities across North America in four months, beginning on March 4, 2022 in Salt Lake City, Utah and will include a two-week run at the history Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Tickets for Riverdance 25th Anniversary Show are now on sale.
Casting Announced For the UK Tour of GROAN UPS
Olivier award winning comedy favourites, Mischief, announce full casting for their very first UK tour of Groan Ups. The touring cast presents: Daniel Abbott (Archie), Jamie Birkett (Chemise, Miss Murray), Matt Cavendish (Simon), Killian Macardle (Paul, Mr White), Yolanda Ovide (Moon), Dharmesh Patel (Spencer), Lauren Samuels (Katie), with understudies Paul Brown and Holly Sumpton.
