Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company Announces Cadence R. Cornelius as Communications Manager

Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company (MJTC) welcomes Cadence R. Cornelius to the MJTC family as Communications Manager.

Cadence was most recently Marketing Manager at IKEA where she was the primary spokesperson for IKEA Twin Cities.  In this position she created and implemented new social networking initiatives as well as forged community partnerships.  Previously, she was the Cole Haan Project Manager for Goebel Fixture Company.  Cadence is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a BA in Communications Studies with an emphasis in mass communications and journalism.   In addition to working in communications, Cadence is an accomplished photographer and is owner of Cadence Cornelius Photographs, a wedding and portrait studio.  

Communications Manager is a newly created position at MJTC.  Barbara Brooks, MJTC’s producing artistic director, explained, “Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company’s staff of two has been stretched for years.  This past year, the Board of Directors undertook long-range strategic planning. Implementation of the newly crafted long-range plan includes the addition of this new position concurrent with theater expansion.  I’m so happy to be working with Cadence at this exciting time.”
