The March Family is coming to Laguna this April! The beloved classic, LITTLE WOMEN: Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, will be presented live on-stage as part of the Laguna Playhouse Youth Theatre, beginning today, April 5 through Sunday April 14 at the Laguna Playhouse Moulton Theatre, 606 Laguna Canyon Drive in Laguna Beach. LITTLE WOMEN: Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy will be directed by Kelly Herman.

This is the Classic story of the March women waiting for their father to return home from the Civil War. A lovely coming of age story, shares the sister's quest to find their place in the world as kind, generous and productive women in a rapidly changing America.

The cast of LITTLE WOMEN: Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy features young actors from the Laguna Beach and Orange County areas. The cast includes Grace McCarney as Jo, Michael Stancliff as Laurie, Kayla Oldfield as Meg, Luis Castilleja as Mr. Brooke, Syd Ames as Beth and Hannah Smith as Amy, Jennifer Pearce as Marmee, Charlie McClung as Mr. Laurence, Topher Mauerhan as Mr. March, Margaret VandenBerghe as Aunt March and Naomi Marden as Hannah Mullet.

The ensemble includes: Aaron Canter, Rudy Buttlar, Nicole Doiron, Kaelin Davis, Troy Huyen, Sydney Miller, Shawna Yang and Ryan Zipstein.

LITTLE WOMEN will perform tonight, April 5 at 7pm; Saturday, April 6 at 1pm & 5pm; Sunday, April 7 at 1pm and 5pm; Friday, April 12 at 7pm Saturday, April 13 at 1pm & 5pm; Sunday, April 14 at 1pm and 5pm and offers two mid-week matinees on Thursday April 11 at 10:00am and Friday, April 12 at 10:00am at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

Founded in 1920, The Laguna Playhouse is one of the oldest continuously-operating theatres on the West Coast. The Laguna Playhouse is noted for its Youth Theater Education and Outreach programs. In 1989, its Youth Theater was recognized as "Outstanding Children's Theatre" by the American Alliance for Theatre and Education. The theater's touring production, TheatreReach, brings books to life on stage for elementary school children throughout southern California and has been recognized by the Orange County Department of Education and Arts Orange County for ' Outstanding' Contributions.
