The world premiere production of Rude Mechs' "I've Never Been So Happy" begins performances Thursday, October 6 at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre. The Western musical transmedia shindig runs for 18 performances only through October 23, 2011, as part of DouglasPlus programming. Opening is set for Saturday, October 8 at 8 p.m.

"I've Never Been So Happy" features (in alphabetical order) Cami Alys, Kerri Atwood, Lowell Bartholomee, Liz Cass, Noel Gaulin, Thomas Graves, Hannah Kenah, Jenny Larson, Lana Lesley, E. Jason Liebrecht, Michael T. Mergen, Erin Meyer, Eric Roach, Paul Soileau, Peter Stopschinski and Meg Sullivan.

"I've Never Been So Happy" has book and lyrics by Kirk Lynn and music and lyrics by Peter Stopschinski. It is directed by Thomas Graves and Lana Lesley, and is created by Rude Mechs.
