A new production of GODSPELL comes to Glendale tonight, May 18 to May 20 at the Glendale Presbyterian Church. From the composer of the multi-Tony Award Winning WICKED, GODSPELL is being performed under the auspices of Theater Authority West.

Chris Harrison, pastor of Glendale Presbyterian Church, remarks, “We are excited to be once again engaging the dialogue between Theology and the Arts by producing professional theater in the sacred space.”

A musical theater favorite with many familiar tunes that will leave the audience humming, this is a moving theatrical evening suitable for the whole family but sophisticated enough for the most discriminating theater palates.

Directed by Valerie Mayhew (veteran theatre director, television writer, Brehm Scholar and graduate of The Julliard School), with musical direction by Jeff Bonhiver (graduate of the Brehm Center for Worship, Theology and The Arts), this wholly new production will combine digital media, a five-piece rock band and a large ensemble cast for only three performances at Glendale Presbyterian Church on Friday, May 18th at 8:00 pm, Saturday, May 19th at 8:00 pm and Sunday, May 20th at 7:00 pm.

The church is located at 125 S. Louise Street, just south of Broadway with validated parking in the city structure located just west of Louise on Harvard St.

Suggested donations are $20 per person, $15 for students and seniors, group rates available. Tickets can by purchased by calling (818) 839-0480 or via the website www.gpcgodspell.com
