Fresh Produce'd LA to Present New Play Workshop, 4/17

Fresh Produce'd LA will hold a new play workshop on April 17 at 8:00pm. The workshop is held on the third Thursday of every month and will feature three new short plays or excerpts of plays from three new writers. Doors open at 7:30 and the runtime is 90 minutes. The workshop is held at The Other Space Theater at The Actors Company. Tickets are available at the door and can be purchased for a suggested $5 donation.

FRESH PRODUCE'd provides a place where new theatrical work can ripen. It is a writer's theater dedicated to the support and development of contemporary American playwrights and Screenwriters, and to the production of their new work. It is led by committed and talented artists, harvested from Yale, Julliard, Circle in the Square Theatre School, Tisch, NYU and The New School for Drama.

Founded in New York City in November of 2011 by a group of 10 theatre artists from Yale, Julliard, Circle in the Square Theatre School and Tisch, NYU, Fresh Produce'd LA performs 3 new short plays or screenplays the 3rd Thursday of every month. And they are bi-coastal! Founder Riva Di Paola forged westward, beginning the Los Angeles branch now in residence at The Other Space Theater at The Actors Company.
