Take a magical journey to the land of sweets as students of The Nancy & Frederick DeMatteis Arts Education Program dance alongside ballet professionals in Dancecore Ballet's charming adaptation of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker "Sweet" Ballet at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center tonight, December 14 at 7pm and on Sunday, December 15 at 3pm. All tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at www.whbpac.org.

Join the annual holiday tradition by sharing this beloved ballet classic with the entire family! This year's performance is texturally rich and has more surprises than ever before. A cast of 70 local children will perform alongside 7 professional ballet dancers, some of whom have danced major roles with the celebrated Ballet Long Island and renowned dance companies like Eglevsky Ballet, the Ailey School, and David Parsons & the Parsons Dance Company.

The cast takes the stage performing the beloved tale of Clara, a young girl who takes a magical journey to the Land of Sweets alongside her Nutcracker Prince. After Clara receives a beautiful Nutcracker from her uncle, she finds herself on an enchanted voyage alongside her Nutcracker Prince - through a snowy forest and on to the Kingdom of Sweets. Lively new dance pieces and an expanded Christmas Eve party scene are incorporated into this year's adaptation making it the biggest and best production ever!
