Lincoln Amphitheatre To Show E.T. on Saturday June 4-17

Lincoln Amphitheatre will show the 1982 Steven Spielberg movie E.T.: The Terrestrial this Saturday at 8 p.m. CDT.

This will be the third installment of the four-month Classic Family Films Series of movies being shown in May, June, July, and September on a 40 x 30 foot screen at Lincoln Amphitheatre.

· Saturday, June 11, 8 p.m. CDT, "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."

· Saturday, June 18, 8 p.m. CDT, "A Muppet Movie."

July

· Friday, July 1, 8 p.m. CDT, "How The Grinch Stole Christmas."

· Saturday, July 2, 8 p.m. CDT, "A Christmas Story."

· Friday, July 8, 8 p.m. CDT, "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."

· Saturday, July 9, 8 p.m. CDT, Christmas in July: "Elf."

September

· Saturday, September 3, 8 p.m. CDT, "A League of Their Own."

· Saturday, September 10, 8 p.m. CDT, "Field of Dreams."

· Saturday, September 17, 8 p.m. CDT, "Rudy."

All movies begin at 8 p.m. CDT. Guests may not bring in food or drinks to the amphitheatre. A full-service concessions stand will be provided for Guests to purchase items.
A $5 in-state and a $7 out-of-state per car gate fee apply to enter Lincoln State Park. Admission to the "Classic Family Film Series" is Free, but monetary donations are accepted.
Lincoln Amphitheatre's 2011 production season is complete with "The Wizard of Oz" and "Our American Cousin." "The Wizard of Oz" will take the stage July 21 - August 7, Thursday to Saturday evenings with a Sunday matinee. "Our American Cousin" will run August 19 - August 27, Friday and Saturday evenings with a Sunday matinee. The 2011 "Lincoln's Legacy Lives" fundraising campaign is underway to support the expansion of family-friendly and affordable events at Lincoln Amphitheatre.
