Today: Robert Schenkkan, author of the historical drama 'Hanussen,' who was Adolf Hitler's personal mentalist.

Now is an interesting time to be looking back at the days of the Weimar Republic, Schenkkan says. "The play is very much about the human condition, in particular our tendency to avoid that which is unpleasant, or that which we don't want to see," Schenkkan said. "It's about denial, and the dangers of denial."
