Z2 Entertainment presents Juno What?! & Euforquestra at the Fox Theatre tonight, May 5th. Tickets are $13.00 in advance and $16.00 day of show.

Juno What?! is described as "a shameless dance party. Formed in 2008, the band has quickly become the leading practitioner of high-energy disco booty jams, and live electro-funk. Juno What?! is bringing their illuminated madness to stages across the country. Catalyzing dance floors into sonic landscapes, the band has ignited a devoted following of fans by providing raw, electrifying shows which are devoid of the aimless wanderings of the lesser jam community. Their sound is ahead of its time yet still rooted in the foundation of early-80’s dance grooves with a devout appreciation for sternum-bumping progressive themes. This is a force to be reckoned with."

The band consists of Joey Porter (keyboards, talk box) and Dave Watts (drums, samples) from the Motet, and Steve Watkins (keyboards, talk box, bass). These musicians have gathered their collective talents to focus on this mission of making the world a better place to DANCE!

Euforquestra is a seven-member unit that relocated to Fort Collins, CO in Summer 2008 after spending five years in Iowa City, IA. The band’s own brand of High Intensity Global Dance Music is a percussion and horn driven blend of modern music that fuses afrobeat, reggae, dub, funk, rock, soca and highlife with traditional sounds from Cuba, Brazil, West Africa and beyond.

Euforquestra’s latest studio album “Soup” was released for free online and has been downloaded over 10,000 times since its release in Fall 2009. After adding new members Ben Soltau and Matt Wright (bass and keys, respectively) the band shows no sign of slowing with multiple album and EP releases in the works and busy 2011 tour schedule.
