Curious Theatre Company presents Yasmina Reza's God of Carnage, directed by Producing Artistic Director Chip Walton. The production runs April 25 - June 8, 2013 at 1080 Acoma Street, Denver. The opening performance is April 27, 2013, at 8 p.m.

A playground scrap between two boys brings together their parents. These couples meet to iron out the details of the peace accord, but the adults' differences soon come to mirror the conflict of their children. Reza, who won Tony Awards for both this play and the 1998 hit ART, once again displays her considerable gifts for wringing big laughs out of the entitlement and narcissism of her characters. Anyone who has gritted their teeth through a polite conflict will see themselves in this hilarious contemporary comedy of manners.

"GOD OF CARNAGE is play that I have been wanting to produce for three seasons at Curious, and so naturally I am excited to be able to finally share it with Denver audiences," says Producing Artistic Director Chip Walton. "I am equally excited about the opportunity to work on this play with such a talented design team and phenomenal cast - it is a perfect combination of artists for this particular show, a great showcase for our artistic company members, and a tremendous way to cap off what has been a stellar 15th Anniversary Season."

The cast includes Curious Theatre Artistic Company Members Dee Covington, Erik Sandvold and Karen Slack along with Tim McCracken.

The creative team includesCurious Artistic Company Members Kevin Brainerd?, Markas Henry? and Shannon McKinney, along with Brian Freeland and Kristin Hamer.
