Creede Repertory Theatre's KID Show has been chosen as a finalist for the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards.

CRT is one of 50 finalists (out of 360 applications) which "distinguishes it (The KID Show) as one of the top arts- and humanities-based programs in the country."

Ten winners will be announced at the end June. Each winner will be awarded $10,000 and be invited to attend the White House awards ceremony hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama.

A free program, The KID Show was created by Education Director Renee Prince and Production Manager Ryan Prince in 2003 to give kids the opportunity to create an extraordinary performance experience with members of CRT's professional company.
