CPCC Theatre will present The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds on September 27, 28, Oct. 4,5 at 8:00pm and September 29 & October 6 at 2:30pm and October 3 at 7:30pm in Pease Auditorium on the CPCC Central Campus. Winner of the 1971 Pulitzer Prize, the Obie Award and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award as Best American Play of the season, The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds is one of Off-Broadway's greatest successes. This powerful and moving study of an embittered, vindictive widow and her two young daughters has been hailed as one of the most significant and affecting plays of our time.
