The starry lineup is now complete for the concert highlighting songs from the epic Broadway-Bound musical "Akhenaten the Musical" on May 1st at The Triad. The Tony Nominee for Motown, Charl Brown, will join Broadway favorites N'Kenge (Motown the Musical, Sondheim on Sondheim) and Ted Keegan (Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd). Also previously announced to perform were Seph Stanek (Naked Boys Singing), John Lucas, Sahar Milani, Alia Munsch, and Erik Ransom.

"Akhenaten the Musical" takes us back to the time of the Egyptian Pharoah Amenhotep IV, who loved his wife Nefertiti above all things and who, with her support, fought the powerful priesthood and replaced the worship of many Gods with the worship of one: Aten. Akhenaten the Musical has a book by Hisham Abdel Khalek and Mohamed Metwally, music by Hesham Nazih, and lyrics by Mohamed Metwally. The show is produced by Corey Mach.

The creative team for the musical includes multi-award winning choreographer Chet Walker (Pippin), Drama Desk Award Winner projection designer Aaron Rhyne (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), makeup designer Joe Dulude II (On the Town, Wicked), hair and wig designer Charles Lapointe (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Newsies), and Italian opera costume designer Giovanni Gobbi.

For tickets to the show, call 1-800-838-3006, or visit http://stage72.com. The Triad is located at 158 72nd Street on the second floor. Tickets are $25.
