A one-night only benefit concert for Build Jake's Place, "Flight Risk" is an evening with Krysten Cummings at the theater that started it all. From Jesus Christ Superstar to Rent, from Broadway to the West End, Krysten will be performing songs from the shows she's starred in, songs she's written, and songs she was never intended to sing.

"Baby Jake" was beloved by many and left this world all too soon as a result of a rare cardiac medical condition. Jake always wore a smile. That smile was never bigger than when he was at a playground. Although Jake was unaware that his illness kept him from accessing many components of a typical playground, his family was not. Jake's family chose to honor his memory by creating a specially designed playground based on their belief that every child deserves a chance to play, regardless of physical limitations. Jake's Place stands as a monument not only to the memory of "Baby Jake", but to the hard work, generous spirit and boundless love of this community.

Krysten Cummings is a singer/songwriter who has been seen in over 20 productions worldwide on thirty countries. She was seen on Broadway in RENT, originated the role of Mimi in the original Canadian and West End productions. Among some of her favorite roles: 1st Cover Mary/Soul Girl/Ensemble (Jesus Christ Superstar Arena Tour), Diane Morales in A Chorus Line (National Tour), Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar (Lyceum Theatre, Colosseum Theatre-Germany, Scandinavian Tour).
