Former FACTS OF LIFE co-stars Lisa Whelchel and Charlotte Rae reunited on Tuesday, June 24th. Whelchel shared a photo of the special meeting on Instagram along with the caption: "Selfie with Charlotte Rae today at lunch. She gave me some good advice. (Just like old times.:)"

51-year-old Whelchel portrayed spoiled rich girl Blair Warner on the long-running sitcom, while 88-year-old Rae took on the role of boarding school housemother Mrs. Edna Garrett. The series aired from 1979 - 1988.

Rae exited the series in 1986 and was replaced by Cloris Leachman, who played Edna's eccentric sister Beverly Ann Stickle. Rae reunited with the cast for a 2001 TV movie titled The Facts of Life Reunion in 2001.

Coming up for the cast, Welchel will co-star with Kim Fields, who played fellow student Tootie on the sitcom, in a Hallmark CHANNEL original movie For Better or For Worse.
