ABC's THE VIEW Outperforms 'The Talk' Across the Board

ABC's THE VIEW averaged 2.716 million Total Viewers, 516,000 Women 25-54 and 384,000 Women 18-49 during the week of September 26, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "The View" outdelivered CBS' "The Talk" (2.664 million, 500,000 and 340,000, respectively) across the board for the 2nd week in a row, increasing its lead versus the previous week: Total Viewers (+79% - 52,000 vs. 29,000), Women 25-54 (+23% - 16,000 vs. 13,000) and Women 18-49 (+132% - 44,000 vs. 19,000).

"The View" improved on the prior week (2.667 million, 499,000 and 374,000, respectively, for w/o 9/19/16) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+2%), Women 25-54 (+3%) and Women 18-49 (+3%), drawing its largest overall audience in 3 months - since w/o 6/27/16.

"The View" improved on the same week last year by double-digits in Total Viewers (+12% - 2.716 million vs. 2.430 million for w/o 9/28/16).

Season to date, "The View" is improving in Total Viewers (+15% - 2.738 million vs. 2.382 million), Women 25-54 (+3% - 517,000 vs. 502,000) and Women 18-49 (+1% - 387,000 vs. 385,000) compared to the same point last season.

In addition, "The View" leads CBS' "The Talk" across the board: Total Viewers (+2% - 2.738 million vs. 2.685 million), Women 25-54 (+3% - 517,000 vs. 501,000) and Women 18-49 (+9% - 387,000 vs. 356,000).
