Tim Bubenik, a first time passionate author, has completed his new book "Things Have Changed for Me": a gripping and hypnotic read of a sister who finds out her brother has abducted a young boy.

Tim Bubenik is a native of Ferguson, Missouri, and a mostly life-long St. Louisian. He studied Creative Writing at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale before attending law school at Charleston School of Law.

Although Tim is a licensed attorney and currently employed fulltime with the federal government, writing remains his passion. His literary heroes include Ernest Hemingway, Stephen King, David E. Kelley, and Bob Dylan. This is his first novel.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Tim Bubenik's entrancing tale about an abduction and a tear in more than one family. Who will Lance choose, his real family, or his new family?

Author Tim Bubenik asks the reader "How would you react to the discovery that your only living blood relative was the perpetrator of a heinous crime?"

That is the dilemma Mary Carol finds herself in when she stumbles upon the fact that her brother is responsible for the abduction of a twelve-year-old named Lance. As she attempts to help the boy, Mary Carol forms an intense bond with him. Meanwhile, Lance's parents struggle to cope with the loss of their son, along with the notoriety and suspicion that accompany being the parents of a missing child.

Years later, Lance returns to his family as a young man. As he and his parents try to mend their broken family, Mary Carol faces a potential prison sentence. Emotions rise as Lance's parents adjust to the return of their son who is now a stranger and Lance is forced to choose between the family he lost and the family he found.

Readers who wish to experience this mesmerizing work can purchase "Things Have Changed for Me" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
