Chameleon Resumes, a nationally recognized job search consultancy firm, with certified job search consultants and executive resume writers, today released a free ebook: "99 Job Search Tips from an Executive Recruiter - Using Social Media and Traditional Networking to Find Your Next Job."

Nothing can be more beneficial than to learn directly from a qualified Executive Recruiter who knows the ins and outs of how to find jobs and what works and what doesn't in getting hired.

Chameleon Resumes offers that help with their new ebook that is available here:

Lisa Rangel, Managing Director of Chameleon Resumes, packs contemporary wisdom and practical suggestions that job seekers can implement immediately. The job search tips outlined in the ebook are drawn from her 17+ years of experience as an executive recruiter, LinkedIn Premium Job Seeker Group Moderator, executive resume writer and job search consultant.

Rangel covers everything from leveraging social media (including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook) to find job leads to sound traditional networking techniques that enable the job seeker to expand their reach to the companies where they want to work.

An author and speaker, Rangel has been featured on LinkedIn, U.S. News & World Report, Monster.com, Fox Business News, Good Morning America for Keith Ferrazzi's "Who's Got Your Back?" book launch, Shally Steckerl's Sourcing Institute, Tim's Strategy, Jackalope Jobs, Career Development Carnival, B.I.G. (Believe, Inspire, Grow) and community job blogs.

Her 99 tips include advice like:

  • Devise a target list of companies where you would like to work based on industry, geography, discipline, or benefits needed. Then identify the hiring authority or field manager that is involved with hiring in your discipline to introduce yourself to that person. Create your own opportunity and do not wait for a job posting.
  • Look for job postings in LinkedIn Groups not just LinkedIn Jobs....It's free for recruiters to post jobs in Groups and often jobs are posted in professional and industry related groups before a LinkedIn Jobs ad is posted.
  • Participate in Twitter job chats such as #jobhuntchat, #hfchat or #linkedinchat.
  • Use a current, professional, yet laid back picture that exudes confidence for your social media profiles.

"I've seen what works and what doesn't," Rangel says. "I took some of the best practices that have worked for thousands of clients and job seekers and compiled them in this timely ebook that executives can reference to help land their next position."
