Juliet Echo Productions and Voyage Theater Company is proud to announce that TEXT#LOVE LOVE#TEXT, will have its world premiere TUESDAYS in MAY (MAY 3rd, 10th, 17th, & 24th-7:30pm) at the Celebration of Whimsy Theater (aka C.O.W), 21a Clinton St., NY, NY 10002

The play TEXT#LOVE LOVE#TEXT centers around a modern day romance that falls apart due to their addiction to texting. We see all the characters struggle with their romances in this humorous and poignant play. To add to the fun, there is also a media-driven interactive element where the audience will be able to influence the play's narrative through their tweets about the play! #textlovelovetex

The cast includes: Laura Butler (recent former credit: Laura-Dorset Theatre Co.'s The Glass Menagerie) as Ally, Chris Gentile (Tony Whoppinger in Ohio Theatre's/Berkshire Fest. The Position) as Michael, Naima Jackson as Blakely, Jose Ignacio Gomez (St. Peter in The Actor's Studio's The Last Days of Judas Iscariot as Jose, Carla Angeloni (Tanya in the Stroller Theater's Jerusalem) as Christine, Jen Emma Hertel (Living Theatre) as Susan, Mollie Downes as The Waitress, Steven Barkman as Andrew, and Donny Londono as Marcus.

TEXT#LOVE LOVE#TEXT was created by director and playwright Jen Emma Hertel, who came to age as a theatre practitioner with the Living Theatre, her MA from NYU, and the late Bob Sickinger. She is a director (REFORM; Pinter's Partytime), playwright (REFORM; Being), producer (The Grind; Greedy Bitch), and actor (We, the Players; Horrible People; Ellie Can't Fail).

Producer Michael Ngo and Voyage Theater Company (Obama 44 at La MaMa ETC; My Poor Marat at Canal Park Playhouse; Intermission at Clurman Theatre; Unveiled at 4th Street Theatre, and coming up August Strindberg's The Pelican at 4th Street Theatre) are proud to produce this new play.
