Bernard Pomerance's Tony Award-winning play THE ELEPHANT MAN, starring two-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper as John Merrick, Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson as Mrs. Kendal, and Alessandro Nivola as Dr. Frederick Treves, is directed by Tony Award nominee Scott Ellis. The cast also features Anthony Heald as Ross / Bishop Walsham How, Scott Lowell as Snork / Pinhead Manager / Lord John, Kathryn Meisle as Miss Sandwich / Princess and Henry Stram as Carr Gomm / Conductor. The company also includes Chris Bannow, Peter Bradbury, Lucas Calhoun, Eric Clem, Amanda Lea Mason, Marguerite Stimpson and Emma Thorne.

THE ELEPHANT MAN features Scenic and Projection Design by Timothy R. Mackabee, Costume Design by Clint Ramos, Lighting Design by Philip S. Rosenberg, Original Music and Sound Design by John Gromada.

Based on the real life of Joseph Merrick, The Elephant Man tells the story of a 19th-century British man (Cooper) who became a star of the traveling freak show circuit. When the renowned Dr. Treves (Nivola) takes Merrick under his care at the London Hospital, he is astonished by Merrick's brilliant intelligence and unshakable faith. Soon all of Victorian high society becomes fascinated by Merrick, especially the beautiful actress Mrs. Kendal (Clarkson). But with his new life comes new complexity... and a "normal" existence begins to seem all but impossible.

A 2014 graduate of the Yale School of Drama, his credits there include The Visit, Peter Pan, As You Like It, Cloud 9, Tartuffe, and The Maids. Chris is a founding member of Special Sauce Co. as well as D.I.Y. Shakespeare.

Eric has acted with Williamstown Theater Festival, Ars Nova, Blue Man Group, Naked Angels, New Georges, 52nd Street Project, The Lark, The Attic, and Woodshed Collective. He creates short films with Portal Party and writes and performs radio plays for Naked Angels' Naked Radio. He is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Eric would like to dedicate his Broadway debut to his dad.

AMANDA LEA MASON

Amanda Lea Mason is honored to join this incredible team once again. Amanda received a BFA from the Boston University School of Theatre and studied for a semester at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
