Good morning, BroadwayWorld! Because we know all our readers eat, sleep and breathe Broadway, what could be better than waking up to it? For your most important theatre meal of the day, we've rounded up the big news you missed yesterday, what's on the agenda today, and a few extras to start your day off right.

The Bacon: See what's on the griddle today...

Cup of Joe: Perk up and revisit yesterday's big stories...

Broadway Weather Forecast: Oh God, my God/Another winter/In a summer town... High of 38 with a 70 percent chance of snow.

Quote of the Day: Chita on the "current" of theatre...

"You take a plug and put it in a socket, and that's what the theatre is--it lights up right away. You speak, and they respond immediately."
-- Chita Rivera (via BrainyQuote)

What we can't wait the rest of the week for: Neil Patrick Harris being fabulous on Broadway in HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. Whether he's a musical supervillain (Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog), a witty womanizer (How I Met Your Mother), President of the Board of a magic museum (Hollywood's Magic Castle), or the host of a high-profile awards show (Emmys, Tonys), NPH can do no wrong. Seriously.

Video of the Day: To prep for LADY DAY's first preview tonight, check out five-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald performing "Summertime" from PORGY AND BESS!

And finally, Happy Birthday shout-outs to Lee Pace, hitting 35, Sarah Jessica Parker, turning 49, and Katharine McPhee, who is looking at the big 3-0 today!

Pace last starred on the Great White Way in THE NORMAL HEART. He also appeared in the whimsical, musical television series PUSHING DAISIES opposite Kristin Chenoweth and was last seen on the big screen in the second Hobbit film. Parker's Broadway credits include The Innocents, Annie, The Heidi Chronicles, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Once Upon a Mattress. She recently starred opposite Blythe Danner in The Commons of Pensacola off-Broadway. McPhee, the runner-up for AMERICAN IDOL in 2006, acted alongside stage stars Megan Hilty, Christian Borle, Anjelica Huston and more in NBC's SMASH.
