Jane Fonda leads a star-studded cast playing a newly widowed mother in the new film 'This Is Where I Leave You.' Below, the legendary actress talks about her role on GOOD MORNING AMERICA.

Directed by Shawn Levy, new comedy THIS IS WHERE I LEAVE YOU hits theaters today, September 19! The film is based Jonathan Tropper's novel of the same name, and the author also wrote the screenplay.

After years of not getting along and drifting apart, the ALTMAN family gathers to grieve the recent passing of their father. However, the four siblings of the clan are shocked to discover their father's last wish; THE FAMILYmust sit Shiva in his honor for an entire week, grounding them for seven days under the same roof.

The film stars Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Adam Driver, and Corey Stoll as the four siblings, alongside Kathryn Hahn, Rose Byrne, and Jane Fonda.
