Telemundo Delivers Best July Ratings in Network History

Telemundo Media delivered the best July ratings in the network's history, up 13% percent over last year in key demos with an average of 1,483,000 total viewers and 754,000 adults 18-49 during Monday through Sunday Primetime programming, according to Nielsen. The network marks its 5th consecutive period of year-over-year growth in total viewers during the month of July, surpassing its record breaking performance last year.
Programming HighlightsThe season finale of "La Patrona," starring Aracely Arámbula, Jorge Luis Pila and Christian Bach, on July 9 drew nearly 2.6 million total viewers and 1.5 million adults 18-49, ranking as the second highest finale overall, regardless of time period, in the network's history. The hit novela averaged 1.95 million total viewers and 1.1 million adults 18-49. Premiere-to-date, "El Señor de los Cielos" is averaging 2.3 million total viewers and 1.5 million adults 18-49, positioning it as one of the most-watched novelas in Telemundo history. At 10pm, the hit series starring Rafael Amaya, Ximena Herrera, Fernanda Castillo and Gabriel Porras has ranked #1 with adults 18-34, regardless of language, a quarter of the time since its premiere. The series beat at least one of the English-language networks among adults 18-34 nearly every night and 74% of the time among adults 18-49. Additionally, the series outperformed Univision to rank #1 with adults 18-34 among Spanish-language broadcasters almost half of the nights since its premiere.
