People.com reports that newly crowned The Voice champion Danielle Bradbery has signed with Big Machine Records, the same label as country music sensations Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts and Tim McGraw. The 16-year-old is scheduled to begin recording a first album as early as next week, Just Jared reports.

After it was revealed that the Texas teen had won the NBC singing competition, her coach and mentor Blake Shelton commented, "I think it's the most important win we have had so far on The Voice because Danielle is the first winner on The Voice that had no professional experience in the past."

He continued, "People are just wrapped around her finger for a reason. God sprinkled just a little bit more on Danielle Bradbery than he did the rest of us and I'm just glad to call her a friend."

According to the artist's bio, Bradbery has never had a vocal lesson. With natural talent, her cousin encouraged her to start performing, and she soon had her first gig at a church festival. Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Martina McBride are her musical influences.

Runners-up on this season were Michelle Chamuel from Team Usher and The Swon Brothers from Team Blake. This season's musician coaches were Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Usher and Shakira.
