Simon & Schuster UK Acquire Two Novels From New Author Sarah Carroll

Simon & Schuster UK today announced the acquisition of two middle-grade novels from debut author Sarah Carroll. The Girl in Between will publish in paperback, spring 2017.

Rachel Mann, Commissioning Editor, secured a two-book deal from Claire Wilson at Rogers, Coleridge and White in a hotly contested, multi-publisher auction. Girl in Between will be published simultaneously by Kathy Dawson at Penguin US.

But hard as she tries to hold on to her world, things are starting to change. Sarah currently splits her time between a houseboat in Dublin and travel abroad. She recently returned from five years in Tanzania where she founded and ran a hostel while working to support local community projects. Sarah Carroll's second novel is scheduled for Spring 2018. S&S UK hold UK and Commonwealth rights for both books.
