Rena Strober (Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, Disney's Liv & Maddie) is currently living & working in Los Angeles. When not working in TV/Film/Animation, she teaches singing at the Academy of Music for the Blind. AMB is focused on giving a strong music education to visually impaired & blind children ages 4-18 years all. Every student learns to play the piano, guitar, drums and a wind instrument. They also take voice, music composition and computer engineering.

One of Rena's students is 7 year old Gavin Stevens who was born blind from a rare condition known as LCA. Small in stature but big in voice, Gavin recently sang the National anthem for the LA Lakers & Kings. He has won hearts all over the world.

His voice and love of duets inspired Rena to produce a fully filmed recreation of the classic song in Little Shop of Horrors. Gavin is the perfect miniature Rick Moranis while Rena embodies Ellen Green. Watch the video!

Directed by Jon Weinberg, this short film is was produced to raise awareness to the power of music education in the lives of blind children.
