Robert Fridjhon, Bronwyn Gottwald, Craig
Jackson and Alan Swerdlow on the first day
of rehearsals for SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE
CURSE OF THE QUEEN'S DIAMOND

Billed as "an unrecorded case, by royal request, SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE CURSE OF THE QUEEN'S DIAMOND promises to be a hilarious and absurdly inventive tale that the British Empire never wanted to be written about or even mentioned - ever. Written by acclaimed playwright Robert Fridjhon, the production will play through the 2016 festive season at Pieter Toerien's Studio Theatre at Montecasino.

Fridjhon (PYTHONESQUE, TRAVELS WITH MY AUNT, DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER) himself stars in the production, alongside Bronwyn Gottwald ( A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, BOEING BOEING, THE MOUSETRAP) and Craig Jackson (BINNELAND, ISIDINGO, BLACK SAILS).

Directed by the celebrated and multiple-award-winning Alan Swerdlow, Pieter Toerien Productions guarantees that this rollicking yarn will be the perfect cure to send off the stresses of 2016.

SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE CURSE OF THE QUEEN'S DIAMOND runs at the Studio Theatre at Montecasino from 30 November - 15 January on Wednesdays through Saturdays at 20:00 nightly, with matinees on Saturdays at 16:00 and Sundays at 15:00. Tickets cost R130 - R165 through Computicket. The production is suitable for the entire family.
