OnQ Productions will launch its third official season of performances with a special participatory performance event in uptown Charlotte, NC on Tuesday, July 12 from noon - 2:00 p.m. The launch is accompanied by a special offer on season tickets, now available 2-1 at www.carolinatix.org.

"In Season 3, we will explore African-American influences in Opera, Jazz, Gospel, Blues, Rock, and Hip-Hop, with each production representing one of these genres. We wanted to involve the public in our launch, so we're inviting everybody to be a part of shooting a live video - all you have to do is show up at noon, at the Square, and wear any variation of black, white, red," says OnQ Production's founder and creative director, Quentin "Q" Talley.

Talley will perform an original song based on the Janelle Monae's "Tightrope" that will bring an overview of the upcoming Season 3: The Sound of Music to the public in song and dance with the involvement of anyone who wants to be a part.
