Afraid things are getting dull, a thirtysomething couple devise a comprehensive game of do's and don'ts to maintain the spark in their relationship. As the line between reality and fantasy blurs, the couple questions their commitment to the game and to each other. Written by Britney Tangedal and directed by Matthew Hines (The Heel vs. Screwjob), The Love Game is a one act play about coping with the complexities of an aging relationship.

The Love Game features the talents of two exciting performers: Hilary Carroll and Jeff Dingle. Hilary Carroll is a graduate of George Brown Theatre School ('12); she was featured alongside Renée Zellweger in New In Town (Lionsgate Films), and had a recurring role on 2030 CE (YTV). Jeff Dingle is a graduate of George Brown Theatre School ('12); he has toured the Maritimes with Theatre New Brunswick, and was recently featured in Much Ado About Nothing (Single Thread). Playwright Britney Tangedal is a graduate of the NTS's Playwriting Program ('14); her play No Smoking In The Livingroom was a finalist in the Playwrights Guild of Canada's Post Secondary Playwright Competition ('13).

North Of Maine is a collective of Atlantic Canadian artists creating and producing new works of theatre. Our mandate is simple: we produce excellent work using our shared voices and resources. Formed from the training grounds of Saint Thomas University in New Brunswick, North Of Maine is excited to bring our united approach to storytelling to Toronto audiences.
