"Meet the Press" was the most-watched Sunday morning public affairs hour on July 21, 2013, according to Nielsen Media Research data. The NBC broadcast drew 2.455 million viewers, topping The Face the Nation hour by +465,000, This Week by +225,000, and Fox News Sunday by +1,386,000.

MTP delivered an additional 1,170,000 total viewers and 514,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts - 402,000 total viewers and 132,000 A25-54 viewers on the network and 768,000 total viewers and 382,000 A25-54 viewers on MSNBC.

In Washington, DC, MTP averaged 95,000 total viewers (3.3/9 HH), +280% ahead of This Week's 25,000 viewers (1.1/3), +296% ahead of FOX News Sunday's 24,000 (0.9/3), +352% more than The Face the Nation hour's 21,000 (1.0/3).

Highlights:
· MTP averaged 2.455 million total viewers, +10% (+225,000) more than This Week's 2.230 million, +23% (+465,000) more than The Face The Nation hour's 1.990 million, and +130% (+1,386,000) ahead of FOX News Sunday's 1.069 million.
· Compared to its 3Q'13 average, MTP was up in total viewers (+1%, or +16,000).
· In homes, MTP delivered a 1.8 rating and 5 share, ahead of This Week 's 1.6/5, The Face the Nation hour's 1.4/4, and FOX News Sunday's 0.8/2.
· In rating A25-54, MTP delivered a 0.6 rating, +1 tenth ahead of This Week's 0.5, +2 tenths ahead of The Face The Nation hour's 0.4, and +3 tenths more than FOX News Sunday's 0.3.
· MTP averaged 680,000 A25-54 viewers, +44,000 more than This Week's 636,000, +198,000 more than The Face The Nation hour's 482,000, and +272,000 more than FOX News Sunday's 408,000.

Sunday's edition of "Meet the Press" featured a discussion on race relations in America featuring President of the National Urban League Marc Morial, Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-OH), PBS Host Tavis Smiley, Harvard Law Professor Charles Ogletree and MSNBC Political Analyst Michael Steele; an interview with Michigan's Republican Governor Rick Snyder; and a roundtable with Marc Morial, former Michigan Democratic Governor Jennifer Granholm, the New York Times' David Brooks, and NBC News' Chuck Todd.
