Kudish, Osnes & Zien to Perform in BRIGHT LIGHTS - A Night W/ The Ladies Jan. 26

The concert, dubbed "A Night with The Ladies", will feature the work of five incredible women: Deborah Abramson & Amanda Yesnowitz, Katie Thompson, and Lindsay Baker & Amanda Jacobs.

Deborah Abramson & Amanda Yesnowitz will present songs from their piece, The History of War, for which Chip Zien provided the book. Katie Thompson's work as a songwriter has been featured in Monday Night's New Voices, and can be heard on either of her two albums, What I've Done Right and KT Live. Lindsay Baker & Amanda Jacobs are the writing team behind the Broadway bound musical, Pride & Prejudice.

An exceptional cast of performers is being lined up. Already confirmed for the event are Marc Kudisch (9 to 5, Assassins, Thoroughly Modern Millie), Chip Zien (Into the Woods, Falsettos), Laura Osnes (Grease), Liz Larsen (Hairspray, Damn Yankees), Megan McGinnis (Little Women, Les Miserables, Parade), and Charlie Brady (South Pacific). More names are expected to be announced in the coming days.

Hosted by the incomparable Billy Bustamante, the concert series moves to its new home at Dillon's Lounge (245 West 54th Street). The show is on Monday, January 26th at 8pm. Past concerts have featured the work of Jeff Blumenkrantz, Ricky Ian Gordon, Georgia Stitt, Sam Davis, J. Oconer Navarro, Neil Bartram, Brian Hill, and Benj Pasek & Justin Paul.

Dreamlight Theatre Company is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a home for musical theatre in New York City. Last season, they received a Drama Desk nomination for their production of Fugitive Songs.
