Kevin Spacey is set to star in Dayyan Eng's black comedy "Inseparable," which, according to Variety, makes him "the highest-profile Hollywood actor to ever star in a Chinese production."

The plot focuses on a troubled young man (Daniel Wu) who is befriended by a mysterious American expat (Spacey).  "Inseperable" will be shot in both Mandarin and English.  Filming will begin in late January in southern China.

Spacey has quite the impressive film career as well, including two Academy Awards for The Usual Suspects, and American Beauty. His other starring roles in Hollywood include Seven, L.A. Confidential, Pay It Forward, and Superman Returns in a career which has eventually earned him Emmy and Golden Globe nominations
