FACT (Friends Always Creating Theatre) is participating in August with the Cabrini Repertory Theatre and their Thespis Festival with a one-act comedy, "If the Pink Pump Fits" by Jack Dyville, Artistic Producing Director of FACT.

Three performances are set for Thursday August 7 at 8:45pm, Friday August 8 at 6:15pm and Sunday August 10 at 9:30pm at Roy Arias Stage II, 300 West 43rd Street, 4th floor, in the heart of the theatre district, NYC.

Billed as a Gay Cinderella story dealing with Equality, Bullying and Coming Out of the Closet this is an untold Fairy Tale comedy is also a moving one-act play.

Drew, a gay teen (Jonathan Erik Shuller) faces bullying from his 'Pretend-to-be-Christian 'Stepmother' (Lynn Manuell) and her cruel sons, Butch & Bruce (Bryan Ernesto Menjivar & Frank Landau) until a Cross-Dressing Fairy God Mother (Tym Moss) steps in to help find the Quarterback (J. Ryan Hicks) of His Dreams!

Shuler graduated from Oswego State University with a degree in Musical Theatre, and makes his FACT debut in this role. He has performed in Midtown International Theatre Festival, Emerging Artists Theatre Company, The Project Educational Theatre, Inc. and AlphaNYC. He was seen in Dani Girl & Summer of '42 with the Spirit of Broadway Theatre.

Moss a versatile performer originated the Fairy God Mother is an earlier 15 minute version of the show. He is a singer, actor, songwriter, writer and radio host and appeared on Stage, Film and Television. Tym co-created 8 characters that he portrayed Off Broadway in "Girl, A Lopsided Tree Won't Ruin Christmas". You can hear him weekly on his internet radio show called Artists Exposed with Tym Moss where he interviews and plays the music of today's top and rising singers, authors, actors, Red Carpet events and activists in the LGBT community. He is also the founding and former president of the Bronx LGBTQ Center.

Ms. Manuell, a Board member for FACT was last seen in their staged reading of the late-Ron Palillo's "The Lost Boy" at Actors Temple. She was The Pink Hat Lady in Uff da, also written by Dyville and FACT, and Amanda in The Glass Menagerie, Celia in As You Like It, Mama in High Button Shoes and many more. Lynn teaches theatre to special needs children, in NYC. Lynn's book Standing Tall the journals and emails of 9/11 is published by Library Tales publishing. She is also an agent, photographer, company manager and theatre consultant

Dyville is a published playwright with Dramatic Publishers, Brooklyn Publishers, JAC and I.E. Clark. His last two family musicals written with John Stutte, "Eeek! A Mousical" and "A Mermaids' Tale" were produced by FACT at Off-Broadway's STAGE 72 and "A Hansel & Gretel Christmas" ran this year at Stage II of Roy Arias.

"If the Pink Pump Fits" was first produced a few years back as a 15 minute play by Baruch College for an LGBT Festival in association with FACT. This new 45 minute re-incarnation premiered at OUT Source Festival at Louisiana State College in Baton Rouge in June.
