Cooking Channel spices up September with new series Food Fanatics with Eden Grinsphan on Friday, September 13th at 10:30pmET/7:30pmPT. The show follows Eden Grinsphan on her journey to visit food lovers of the web world and taste their favorite dishes across the country. Competition heats up with the one-hour special Food Truck Face Off premiering on Sunday, September 29th at 8pmET/5pmPT as two teams battle it out for a chance to win a customized food truck for one year. Also on the September menu are premiere episodes of Chuck's Eat the Street, Donut Showdown, Kelsey's Essentials, Man Fire Food, Not My Mama's Meals, Restaurant Takeover and Unique Eats. Food Fanatics with Eden Grinshpan
Cooking Channel's food enthusiast Eden Grinshpan dives head first into the world of outrageous and original food bloggers and social media stars in the new series Food Fanatics with Eden Grinshpan. From a crazy, costume-wearing blogger who cooks up caramelized striped bass to the infamous online sensation Vegan Black Metal Chef who shows her his favorite meat-free hangout, Eden learns what makes these passionate internet foodies tick and how they garnered legions of loyal followers.

Eden gets primal in Kansas City with the rapid-fire hip-hop artist, Mac Lethal, at Jack Stack BBQ for some crown prime rib. At Craft Pride in Austin, Eden connects with the popular "Bitch Beer" blogger and her bearded friends for chicken and waffles and the best beer in Texas. In L.A., Eden joins the guys of the online food show Kamikaze Kitchen and helps deliver a mystery ingredient to unsuspecting chef Chris Ho of Seoul Sausage Company. Finally, Eden and online blogger The Foodie Magician make a scrumptious goat dish disappear at Ducks Eatery in Manhattan.
Premiering Friday, September 20th at 10:30pmET/7:30pmPT - "Eating Big Cat Trucker Style!"
Eden heads to Houston to visit online food fanatic Rick Sylvester A.K.A. Big Cat Trucker, who takes her to Just Oxtails Soul Food to put a little "south in your mouth." Then, Eden meets popular online food reviewer Stephy Cakes for some delicious takoyaki balls at Otafuku in New York City's East Village neighborhood. Afterwards, she travels to Nashville to meet an online hot chicken aficionado who gets Eden hooked on Bolton's spicy chicken. Finally, Eden tracks down a crazy costume-wearing blogger at Asian pop-up restaurant Starry Kitchen in downtown L.A.
Premiering Friday, September 27th at 10:30pmET/7:30pmPT - "Healthy Duck Fat Fries"
Eden gets down and dirty with new internet blogging sensations, The Foodie Girls, at the notorious Eggslut Food Truck in L.A. for some delicious gourmet eggs. Then, Eden meets Hollywood celebrity turned food blogger Mariel Hemingway at the Fat Radish in NYC to feast on duck fat fries and donuts. She then travels to beautiful Narragansett, R.I. to meet Davey Wavey, the internet star who's racked up over 100 million views, for a deep fried New England feast of clam chowder and clam cakes at George's of Galilee.

Food Truck Face Off pits two teams against one another to win a customized food truck for one year. After presenting their unique concept to an expert panel of judges, two teams are chosen to Face Off in a truck-on-truck showdown, and the team that turns the most profit walks away with a new food truck.

Chuck's Eat the Street
Premiering Thursday, September at 5th 10pmET/7pmPT -"Charleston Chew"
Between great food and good manners, Charleston has a lot to brag about. "Holy City" used to be its nickname, but these days "Hungry City" is just as appropriate. Chuck tastes the best of Charleston's rivers, farms, oceans and marshes where they all converge on King Street. At Grocery, Chef Kevin Johnson roasts soft-shell crab and fresh asparagus in a wood-fired oven. Chuck then discovers the Lowcountry classic Frogmore Stew at Chef Michelle Weaver's elegant Charleston Grill. At Butcher & Bee, Chef Stuart Tracy shows Chuck how to make a sandwich with chorizo and guacamole, and then it's off to Glazed for gourmet doughnuts filled with local goat cheese, seasonal berries and lavender glaze.
Premiering Thursday, September 12th at 10pmET/7pmPT - "DC's Diverse Cuisine"
People from nearly every country make their home in Washington D.C., and they don't keep their food traditions locked inside the gates of the embassies. A mile past the White House is an old neighborhood that's become the new capital of the D.C. food scene - 14th Street Northwest. At Estadio, Chuck learns the secret to making the perfect tortilla española, a dish that Chef Haidar Karoum went to the far corners of Spain to learn. At The Pig, Chef Robert Cain blends American farm-to-table philosophy with European technique to prepare barbecued pig tails. Chuck continues his exploration at Pearl Dive Oyster Palace where he samples the saltiest oysters around along with the best fried chicken in D.C. Finally, Chuck stops by Andy Shallal's Busboys and Poets, a café named for D.C.'s most famous of busboys, poet Langston Hughes.
Premiering Thursday, September 26th at 10pmET/7pmPT - "The Last Little Italy"
Sure, you know of the Bronx Zoo, the Botanical Garden, and Yankee Stadium, but what you don't know is that the Bronx is also home to New York's biggest Little Italy. On Arthur Avenue, Chuck gets his fill of Italian home cooking. Starting at the legendary Mario's, known from a famous scene in The Godfather, Chuck samples Joseph Migliucci's octopus salad. Next up, at Zero Otto Nove, Chef Roberto Paciullo makes Pasta al Forno, the homey baked pasta dish just like mom used to make. Chuck then heads to Casa Della Mozzarella where Orazio Carciotto turns plain old milk into amazing fresh mozzarella. Finally, at Vincent's Meat Market, Peter De Luca and Chuck make lamb sausage that Peter's Aunt Lillian prepares with peppers and fresh bread to make a delicious sandwich.

Donut-maker Bill from Massachusetts, vegan chef Sara from Seattle and restaurateur Rachel from Toronto compete in a mystery ingredient elimination round. The final two standing have to impress the judges by making three donuts with a "British Pub" theme. The winner takes home $10,000.

Kelsey's Essentials
Premiering Wednesday, September 4th at 8pmET/5pmPT -"Dinner and a Movie"
Kelsey heads to Nitehawk Cinema in Brooklyn, N.Y., where they are taking a gourmet approach to dinner and a movie by serving up treats like shrimp sofrito and chocolate cigars. Kelsey then visits Jen and Jeff at Pipcorn who are reinventing generic popcorn. Inspired, Kelsey heads back to her kitchen to make her version of gourmet bites. She serves Duck and Dogs in a Blanket, S'mores Granola Bites and a Cherry Lime Vanilla Glacier.
Premiering Wednesday, September 11th at 8pmET/5pmPT -"Straight out of Tokyo"
Kelsey discovers the latest trend in Japanese cuisine with a visit to Yuji Haraguchi to learn his unique approach to ramen. Yuji bucks all trends and uses "mazemaen," a dry ramen and no broth. Kelsey also visits Mimi and Coco who have reinvented a Japanese savory favorite by making teriyaki balls with an American twist. She then heads back to her kitchen inspired and makes a Roasted Shrimp, Corn and Bacon Ramen and a mouthwatering Grilled Hamachi Collar
with a Ponzu Dipping Sauce.

With global street food taking over, Kelsey visits Danny of Cemitas who makes cemitas packed with layers of flavor. Then, she visits Epic sandwich Makers who are bringing the amazing flavors of Bombay to the masses. Back in her kitchen, Kelsey continues to go global and makes an Italian Porchetta Sandwich followed by a classic favorite from Trinidad, Curried Chickpea Doubles.
Premiering Wednesday, September 25th at 8pmET/5pmPT -"My Trip to San Fran"
Kelsey remembers her trip to San Francisco, where some folks are whipping up classic Spanish paella with noodles instead of rice. The new trend inspires Kelsey's version of Fideos with Shrimp and Chorizo with a Smoky Paprika Aioli . She can't talk about San Francisco without making a classic buttery and fluffy pilaf, before finishing her San Fran feast with Green Goddess Crab Tapas.

Man Fire Food
Premiering Tuesday, September 3rd at 8pmET/5pmPT - "Love for Lobsters in Maine"
In Maine, the love for lobsters runs deep. In Searsport, a campground is home to a magnificent outdoor kitchen where the "Maine" event is a feast of lobsters, steamers, mussels and corn cooked in seaweed. In Trenton, a family-run lobster pound boils thousands of pounds of lobsters in pots of boiling seawater set over a wood fire. Roger gets a lesson in cracking lobsters like a true Mainer and helps prepare a classic lobster salad sandwich.
Premiering Tuesday, September 10th at 8pmET/5pmPT - "Fiery Foods in Jamaica"
Roger's search for fire and food takes him to Jamaica where he makes a beeline for Scotchie's Too, a restaurant famous for cooking jerk pork and jerk chicken over logs of pimento and sweetwood. Roger also meets up with local fisherman Dennis Abrahams at Alligator Pond, a beach where boats pull in after a morning of fishing to sell their goods. Dennis and Roger start a campfire right on the beach and grill the catch of the day.

Not My Mama's Meals
Premiering Wednesday, September 4th at 9pmET/6pmPT - "Nuts for Peanuts!"
Bobby learns how to transform peanuts into peanut butter with a Mexican flair alongside acclaimed chef, Roberto Santibanez. Then, boxing superstar Laila Ali comes over and adds a peanut-y twist to a few favorite dishes: Bobby's Lean Peanut Chicken Casserole and Light Peanut Butter Rice Pudding.
Premiering Wednesday, September 11th at 9pmET/6pmPT - "Philly on My Mind"
Bobby has Philly on his mind, and he's going to figure out a way to make lighter Philly cheese steaks. He visits a rooftop hydroponic garden to pick up some fresh produce for his Cheese Steak Lettuce Cups and Roasted Zucchini Skins. Then, Philly Cheesesteak master, Tony Luke swings by to see if his cheesesteaks make the cut.

Bobby and his favorite cooking couple, Debi Mazar and Gabriele Corcos, are whipping up some classics from the old country. First and foremost, every Italian meal needs to start with a divine sauce, and Bobby knows just the person to help him out with a red sauce and pesto - an adorable Brooklyn-raised Italian grandmother named Nonna. Restaurant Takeover
Premiering Monday, September 2nd at 10pmET/7pmPT -"Sunnybrook"
Sunnybrook's outdated menu and tired decor has owner Piraba looking to make radical changes. Unfortunately, creative ideas have been as hard to come by as paying customers. Restaurant Takeover sends in Chef Derek Minkensky and designer Cheryl Torrenueva in a last ditch effort to save this aging restaurant.

Vindaloo teeters on the brink of closure after a year of bad ideas, brutal red-tape and a series of unscrupulous contractors. Restaurant Takeover sends Chef Richard Andino and designer Montana Burnett in a last ditch effort to save this family-run business.
Premiering Monday, September 16th at 10pmET/7pmPT -"Village Pizza"
Village Pizza was once a small-town hotspot but as years passed, owner Bernice's affection for junk began to swamp her establishment. Restaurant Takeover sends in renowned chef Corbin Tomaszeski to fix a warped menu and international designer, Paula Velez, to ditch the kitsch and focus the eccentric style of the restaurant.
Premiering Monday, September 23rd at 10pmET/7pmPT -"Curry & Roti"
Curry & Roti, a second-generation Caribbean restaurant, is suffering an identity crisis: is this forty-year-old establishment a take-out joint or a fine-dining restaurant? With profits in the tank, owners Rozanne and Mac have to act fast or their dreams of seeing a third-generation operation will die with their business. Restaurant Takeover heard their SOS and sends in top designer, Paula Velez and renowned chef, Corbin Tomaszeski to save this sinking ship.

Unique Eats
Premiering Sunday, September 1st at 9pmET/6pmPT -"Chi-Town"
Chicago continues to draw hungry foodies from all corners of the country with their innovative restaurants. First up, Publican Quality Meats sells farm-raised meats and house-made charcuterie from their butcher counter, but the real draw is the hearty, meat-filled sandwiches. Then, Yusho creates a buzz with their creative Asian-inspired street food. Antique Taco in Wicker Park offers authentic Mexican tacos and classic American comforts foods with a Mexican twist. Lastly at the Trenchermen, familiar brunch dishes get a fine-dining makeover.

In Austin, chef Paul Qui is keeping it weird and uniquely delicious at East Side King. Then, at New York City's Atera, chef Matt Lightner and his kitchen are the stars of this jewel-like culinary theater. In Philadelphia, a well-known innovator keeps it kosher while wowing the crowds, and in Los Angeles, a couple has gone from dinners in their apartment to a full-fledged restaurant serving irresistible pan-Asian fare.
Premiering Sunday, September 15th at 9pmET/6pmPT -"Modern Italian"
First up, in New York City's Little Italy, restaurants dish out classic Italian-American sandwiches that bring out the kid in all of us. Then, Italian comfort food is paired with beer at gastropub Alla Spina in Philadelphia. Superba Snack Bar in Venice, Calif., crafts their own fresh and dried pastas using unusual ingredients and cooking techniques. Lastly in Nashville, City House puts a Southern twist on Italian sausages and seafood and uses leftover pizza dough to create dumpling-like gnocchi.

We all love classic dishes, but they are all the more special when thoughtful chefs rethink and reinvent them into something completely new and unique. The Wakin' and Bakin' Brunch at Miami's Eating House has something new and interesting for both savory and sweet lovers. Lucy's Fried Chicken in Austin spruces up the traditional fried chicken dinner with lots of creative fixings and sides. Josh's Deli in Surfside, Fla., brings the traditional Jewish deli to a whole new level, reinventing the ubiquitous matzoh ball into gnocchi, and Easy Tiger in Austin combines an artisanal bakery with a beer hall.

Asian cuisine takes on a twist with regional inspired ingredients. In Austin, an authentic ramen house is taking classic broths and adding intense flavors that all Texans will enjoy. At Pubbelly in Miami the pig is big and served at this gastropub in unique Asian-inspired ways. Traditional Thai food has reached the people of Austin and they couldn't be happier with Sway, and in Brooklyn, Dassara is transforming brunch favorites like bagels and lox into Asian noodle dishes.
