Colorful First Poster For Patti LuPone & Michael Urie In SHOWS FOR DAYS At Lincoln Center

Patti LuPone and Michael Urie back on Broadway, together!

Two-time Tony Award-winning Broadway legend Patti LuPone is set to headline Douglas Carter Beane's autobiographical new play SHOWS FOR DAYS along with stage and screen star Michael Urie, directed by Jerry Zaks, at Lincoln Center Theater's Mitzi Newhouse Theater, with rehearsals beginning in March and previews set to begin June 4 and a brand new poster for the show is now available to view.

Of note, the colorful poster was created by frequent Lincoln Center Theater artist James McMullan.

The official description of SHOWS FOR DAYS is as follows: "SHOWS FOR DAYS is playwright Douglas Carter Beane's fond remembrance of his immersion into a life in the theater. The comedy is set in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1973, when 14-year old Car, the play's narrator and the author's alter-ego, is introduced to the world of theater through his local community theatre, the Prometheus Theatre, and its devoted cast and crew which is led by Irene, an indomitable force of nature whose life is dedicated to putting on productions she directs, designs and stars in."
