On Monday, November 4, on NBC's "TODAY," Savannah Guthrie will sit down with best-selling authors Mark Halperin and John Heilemann live in Studio 1A for their first interview previewing their highly anticipated new book, "Double Down: Game Change 2012."

Halperin and Heilemann are the authors of "Game Change," which spent seven weeks at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list and was the basis for an Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning HBO movie of the same name. In "Double Down: Game Change 2012," the authors chronicle the 2012 presidential campaign in unparalleled detail based on over 500 interviews with the key players who lived the story, crafting a riveting behind-the-scenes account of the Republican nomination battle, the Obama and Romney operations, and much more.

Guthrie will get their unique insights on the biggest news revealed in the book and discuss their personal experiences reporting and writing this narrative over the past several years.

"Double Down: Game Change 2012" is on sale November 5.
