"This Week's" 3-week run at No. 1 stands as its best in over 16 years in Total Viewers (2/1 - 2/15/98) and best in over 18 years in Adults 25-54 (9/24 - 10/8/95), based on regular telecasts.
"This Week" led CBS' "Face the Nation" by 378,000 Total Viewers and by 219,000 Adults 25-54 lead, leading the CBS program by its largest overall viewer advantage in 1 1/2 years - since 9/2/12. In addition, "This Week" beat NBC's "Meet the Press" by 376,000 Total Viewers and by 223,000 Adults 25-54. "This Week" surged on its year-ago telecast (2.368 million and 646,000, respectively on 3/10/13) in both Total Viewers (+38%) and Adults 25-54 (+72%). In fact, "This Week" has delivered year-to-year increases for the last 6 weeks in both measures. The ABC public affairs program was also up the most from its year-earlier telecast compared to CBS' "Face the Nation" (-9%/-2%), NBC's "Meet the Press" (+9%/+10%) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (-13%/-25%). Season to date, "This Week" is up in Total Viewers (+12%) and Adults 25-54 (+9%) versus its year-ago season averages. Growing in both measures for the 2nd year in a row, "This Week" is delivering its strongest performance in 5 years - since the 2008-09 season.
