Is it time to break up with our phones?
The Tim Arnold Company is proud to present Super Connected – a feature-length film drama with live music addressing the impact of social media on families. Created long before Netflix's smash hit Adolescence, it has never had a general release… until now. With its critically acclaimed album performed live alongside the film, Super Connected fuses cinema, live music and on-stage performance in a powerful drama about the ticking time bomb of social media and Big Tech.
As the film rolls, Arnold performs on stage & screen accompanied by pianist Sarah Kershaw. With the scale of Radiohead & panache of Bowie Super Connected LIVE is a digital age take on the silent movie. With narration by Stephen Fry.
Full of wit, wisdom & terror, the show explores a family’s struggle with technology addiction.
Being pulled in & out of the screen by the attention-grabbing characters, Arnold, on-stage, grapples with what connection & intimacy mean in a digitally distracted world.
